Mi favourite Subject

My favourite subject at university is biology, especially the unit of embriology. This semester I have to learn it and I think that is something amazing because I really like to know about all the events related with the embryonic human development. In this development are related and complemented genetics and molecular processes which determs, for example, the development of arms, stomach, head, heart, liver, kidney, bones. etc. This is very important for my career because we attend newborn children, so we can evaluate if they present a normal development or they have any congenital malformation.
In this unit, my teachers are Dr. Miguel Concha and Dra. Mariana Rojas. They are an experts on this topic and they have many disposition to teach us everithing. Dra. Mariana Rojas also is a veterinary doctor, so she explains us the embryonic development in animals too.
I think that is very important to know this, not only for health professional but any persons too because we are humans and we must know everithing about us.

Me in five years :)

Well, I really think in that everyday. The most important thing that I want to do in five years is finish mi career, start working and be a really good profesional. For this goal I study a lot everyday because I want to be the best in my area. Also, I would like to travel to another country to follow my studies and know other realities related with my career.
In other plane, I would like to travel with my family to Torres del Paine. I think that is a very beautiful place, full of nature and the most important is that is in Chile :) I really want to travel there, so I will work very very hard jajajaja.
I think that the future is something very important an very uncertain too. We plane many things but anybody knows what could happen in the way, so for that I always enjoy every second, with my family, my friends and all the important people that makes me happy :D

The best profesional in my area

I think that the best professional in my area is Ms.Hilda Bonilla, who is the director of Obstetrics School at Universidad de Chile. She was rewarded with the "Olga Julio" award in recognition of her vast trade-union and academic path. She finished her program studies in 1969 and then she started working as a clinical midwife in hospitals and doctor`s office until 1972. Since that year until now she has been working like a teacher in Obstetrics School at Universidad de Chile, taking part in th education of the new midwifes generation. Also she has taken part of chilean and foreing programs of familiar planning, working as an active assesor in research investigations in Universidad de Concepción and she is a member of the scientific committee of the Midwifes' School in Chile.
I like her because she is an excellent teacher, very intelligent and knows everything about my career. She stimulates us to study more if we want to be a great professionals, and she is a especialist in Health Mother Infantile, and that is the area that I want to follow when I finished my career.

My career

In first time I wanted to study nursery, and obstetrics was into my options too because I definitly love babys and help them to be born is something amazing!. Finally I choose study obstetrics and Im very happy for that :D. Be a midwife it´s very special because they have and important role in society like assist delivery, favor the health and quality of life of the woman in the different periods of her vital cicle and realize activities of prevention, promotion, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. Also they worry about the newborn child and integrate all the family in this beautiful process. Midwifes needs to be very delicate, nice and worry with them pacients, and also they need to be prepare if the newborn child or the mother are in problems in the moment of delivery. For all this things I really love my career, and in the future when I finally will be a midwife, I will be very profesional and do all the things that I say before very well :D.
Now, in my career I really love biology, because we can know everything about our cells, and they are they construct our body. Im really happy for that and all the things that we must know for be a midwife in the future. :D

A funny and great photograph!

This is one of my favorites photographs. It´s so funny! It was taken in 2007 when I was finishing school by a classmate. The day when this photograph was taken, me and my school friends were hidden in the backyard of our school because we didn´t want to go to class. In this part of the school any authority goes to supervise if any classmate is out of classes, so we decide to go right there. While we were there, we get lunch, talk and make many funny things like take this photograph. I like it so much because our faces are very very crazy and whe are in a infantile game so it´s more funny yet !. Everytime that I see this photograph, I remember my days in school with my friends, so it´s very important for me. I hope that if anyone have the oportunity to spend a great time, take photographs! In the future, you can remember that beautiful moments.

Very interesting page about my career

I like to visit a web page, this is www.padresok.com/paginas/Embarazo.cfm/, and I founded last satuday when I was making a work for the university. This web page it`s about everything that you need to know about pregnancy from the conception to delivery. It has a lot of topic, like information about pregnancy, before delivery, delivery and post delivery. In each topic there is many tips, for example, in post delivery it says how you can have a delivery without stress, and in pregnancy how you can make excersice for you health and your baby health. Also, I can browse in the web page and found more information about other topics like education, health, free time, be fathers, be a woman and fertility. It´s so complete! This page it´s not only for obstetrics student like me, everyone can get a lot of information if they need it, so, if everyone want to know about this kind of information, this is the right page! My favorite peace of technology

My favorite peace of technology is my laptop. I can do many things with it like browse in internet, play games, do works for the university and chat with my friends. It´s so complete! I couldn´t live without it! Since that I´m studing in the university, I don´t have time to see my lovely friends, and because of the computer I can talk with them any time of the day :D and know about them lives and experience at the university. I can browse in internet too, so I can do many works for the university because in internet there is many information, and I can use my lapton in the university because it has free internet!. I can listen to music too and that is very funny. I can take my lapton everywhere I want, so it`s very comfortable :D
Definitly my laptop is a very successful tool to my whole life :D
